SPONSOR A CHILD
Every child deserves an education, sufficient food each day, and time to enjoy their young life.
Our sponsorship package to enable each child the opportunity of this is as follows:
Infants or Junior education, and fed whilst at school: £12.50 per month
High School education, and fed whilst at school: £20 per month
Please also remember that a child being sponsored in turn allows their parent or guardian to use their limited funds on something other than education and breakfast/lunch, and that any funds they have are usually spent in Taru, thus supporting the local economy.
For more details please contact us.
We couldn't do any of this without the wonderful, generous support from our sponsors and donors.
2019 has been a truly fantastic year, and we pray for an even more successful 2020.
All sponsors are named alongside the picture of each child on our 'Meet The Kids' page, and we value each and every one of you with all our hearts.
Alongside this, we are very lucky to have received cash and funding support from so many people, too many to name here, but we do our utmost to show our appreciation on our Social Media channels.
We are happy to receive cash donations in order to support even one item of a child's requirements, or to enable us to further develop and complete the school, or even to buy more land in order to give the kids a play area and possibly develop dormitories
£1 A WEEK CAN HELP US TO FEED A CHILD FOR THAT WEEK IN THE SCHOOL, AND CAN HELP US TO PAY FOR THE WATER BILL
Alongside this, we are in need of support to buy text books, desks, put electricity into all classses, roof and floor the part-built classes, mesh all windows, develop a kitchen area, set up wifi in the compound, and many other items...
Please Contact Us if you are able to support in any way.
We now have a place for volunteers to stay whilst in Taru.
Accommodation is basic, but there is a comfortable bed and a freshwater shower.
Meals can be taken with the school kids if the volunteer wishes.
If you would like to volunteer at the school, then please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will discuss the opportunities with you.
We are very keen to let the world see how real our project is, and we look forward to welcoming volunteers in the near future.
Over the past year or so we have taken more and more donated items over to Kenya to give to the children.
We are more than happy to accept donations of the following...
Socks, underwear, handkerchiefs
Biros, HB pencils, Crayola crayons, chalk, rulers
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
Please Contact Us with anything you have to donate, and we will arrange to contact you and collect.
